HE. Mahmood Khalil Al Hashemi, the AFZ Director General, received today HE Mohammed Sharaf, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Economic and Commercial Affairs. They discussed the ways of cooperation in supporting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for investment opportunities and benefits offered by the Ajman Free Zone through diplomatic missions outside the country. Al Hashemi presented an explanation about the representative offices abroad and their contribution to benefit from the advantages and opportunities of investment in Ajman, and the importance of the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in supporting the work of those offices and thus support the movement of investment to the State.
From his part, the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation for Economic and Commercial Affairs expressed the ministry's readiness to contribute to all that supports the economic development and growth movement in the country. He pointed out that the UAE has an ideal geographical position between East and West and has played a historical role as a maritime port enabling the trade exchange between the Gulf and world ports where it adopts a fruitful economic strategy making it a destination capable of attracting industrial and commercial companies.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Faisal Al Nuaimi, the Deputy General Manager of Ajman Free Zone and Mr. Khalifa Al-Musafari from the Department of Economic Affairs and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
